Panavision Europe, a long standing client of MHA contacted us to review the condition of the existing asbestos sheet roof over 4 warehouse units which have been converted to provide HQ and Warehouse / Storage facilities for their UK and European operations.

What We Did

MHA had intimate knowledge of the roof and confirmed that it was reaching the end of its useful life, the client had recently signed an extension of their lease term and asked that a roofing solution be provided to match the lease end term, MHA reviewed the market and recommended a specialist over coating system, together with replacement of the UV affected roof lights, and installation of cooling fans.

The project consisted of over coating 5500sq metres of asbestos sheet roofing with a reinforced liquid applied system, together with pre-formed replacement gutter linings being installed, full CDM considerations had to be undertaken particularly with respect to the safety of the operatives and also Panavision Staff.
