Client Brief
Malcolm was contracted by KFG, owners of Maison Blanc concerning their Farnham outlet. At the commencement of the Lease certain work needed to be rectified in order to ensure a rent-free period at the beginning of the Lease.
When the Freeholder came to dispose of the property, it was clear that these works had not been undertaken. Malcolm was commissioned to visit the site, provide an initial Report, specify and monitor works to completion.

What We Did
The works were further complicated by a substantial refurbishment taking place in the adjacent building, so Party Wall issues arose. During the works it was clear that the main structure was in need of remedial works and this, together with the discovery of a dry rot outbreak, provided additional challenges. The works were completed to time and budget and the unit was able to trade throughout the contract period.
