ALDI UK
Malcolm was approached by Harris Keane who, representing their Client ALDI UK, needed an assessment of potential future dilapidations liabilities on their two distribution warehouses located on an industrial estate north of Manchester.

Maison Blanc Repairs & Refurbishment
Malcolm was contracted by KFG, owners of Maison Blanc concerning their Farnham outlet. At the commencement of the Lease certain work needed to be rectified in order to ensure a rent-free period at the beginning of the Lease.
When the Freeholder came to dispose of the property, it was clear that these works had not been undertaken. Malcolm was commissioned to visit the site, provide an initial Report, specify and monitor works to completion.

Panavision Europe, a long standing client of MHA contacted us to review the condition of the existing asbestos sheet roof over 4 warehouse units which have been converted to provide HQ and Warehouse / Storage facilities for their UK and European operations.

Tollington Court Section 20 Works
MHA were contacted by the Managing Agents representing the Residents Association of a block of flats in North London; following years of neglect, the rear elevation and balconies which provided secondary means of access to the flats, had deteriorated to an extent that it was causing health and safety concerns.

Malcolm was appointed by Panavision Europe to manage their lease ends in 5 industrial Units in Greenford, Middlesex.

Panavision Internal Alterations
Continuing on our long standing relation with Panavision, their Operations Director contacted us to draw up proposals to reformat areas of their HQ building to provide more test rooms in order to cope with a big upturn in workload.

Curlhawes
Following the massive flooding to the River Thames in 2014, MHA were approached by the owners of a Grade 2 listed property which had been badly affected from the backflow of a main Thames Water sewer back flowing into their property

West Hill Survey
MHA were contacted by a previous client to undertake a survey of an external block of tenanted mansion apartments in West Hill, London. The report was to identify and prioritise required repairs to best utilise maintenance funds saved from the residents.

Wexner Building
Campsie were contacted by a group of Leaseholders who had queries about the scope of proposed major works which had not been addressed by the Managing Agents. The Leaseholders were also dissatisfied with the way the costs had been apportioned and had unresolved queries about the Service Charge accounts.

New Country House
MHA were contacted by a specialist architect we had successfully worked with before concerning a project in Hampshire for private clients. There were concerns regarding the original tender process and robustness of the specification for a complicated new build following demolition of an existing farmhouse building.

MHA were approached by the owners of a property in Staines upon Thames to project-manage and monitor works to extend their living space and benefit from the extensive river views.

Temporary Hostels
Orchard and Shipman approached MHA to project manage the process of conversion of two redundant nursing homes into managed temporary hostels for the homeless in the London Borough of Bromley, in order to relieve the strain and cost implications of placing people within B+B accommodation for long periods.

Infill Building Reigate School
Malcolm was approached by the School to put forward a feasibility study, which provided a solution to a number of points affecting the smooth running of the School. Due to the rapid expansion of the School as a result of its excellent OFSTED results, they found they were short of adaptable teaching space, welfare areas for use at lunchtime and office space.

Eastwick SNSC Extension & Refurbishment
As part of Surrey County Council’s push to improve provision at their Schools for children with Special Needs, they embarked on a programme of expansion and improvement of their existing Special Educational Needs (SEN) Units. Eastwick School approached MHA to undertake a feasibility study and won funding for an extensive overhaul of their facilities to provide a new Special Needs Support Centre (SNSC).

Dovers Green School New Classrooms
MHA were contacted by the School to discuss the likelihood of providing an additional Reception Year Classroom.

Dovers Green SNSC
Surrey County Council decided to upgrade facilities at their Schools which currently had Special Educational Needs (SEN) Units, in order to improve services and facilities to cater for the increasing number of children exhibiting special needs such as autism and ADHD. The Head Teachers at Dovers Green approached Malcolm to design a proposed scheme; we needed to re-design this at the last minute after concerns arose regarding staffing levels.

Reigate School New Changing Rooms
The Governors of Reigate School approached MHA to help resolve a number of key issues with the School including inadequate changing facilities for sports events, insufficient capacity with the catering services and the need to provide additional teaching space.

MHA were contacted by Reigate School concerning a lack of available space at the School to fulfil its curriculum requirements with respect to Food Technology, and the ability to teach to NVQ standards.
